The famous Rob Roy Bar with its open fire and traditional ambience is located at the east end of the building.

The Rob Roy Bar boast a hand-picked selection of some of the finest malts whiskies from all parts of the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.

A well balanced bar menu is also on offer which is complemented by a snack menu as well as a takeaway service.

Kingshouse Hotel & Cottages, Balquhidder

Built on the site of the former Royal Hunting Lodge of the Stewart Kings and used by King James VI. The original building dates from circa 1590 meaning our lovely location has an exciting historical tale to tell.

Thr striking historic building of the Kingshouse Hotel faces towards Balquhidder, Loch Voil, the western hills and the setting sun.

The hotel is clean & tidy and the staff are very helpful. A great location to stay!
