The Kings House Hotel is a family run accommodation establishment built on the site of a Royal Hunting Lodge of the Stewart Kings and used by King James VI. The original building dates from circa 1590.

The hotel accommodation consists of seven rooms,  five doubles and two twins. All the bedrooms  are en-suite, furnished in a homely cottage style and two have four poster beds.

The Kings James Lounge Bar is adjacent to the dining ares and the popular Rob Roy Bar with its open fire and traditional ambience is at the other end of the building. Both bars boast a hand picked selection of the finest malt whiskies from all parts of the Highlands and Islands. A well balanced bar menu is complemented by a snack menu and a take away service.
